For Grade 8---2 hours per week

This course will review topics in mathematics and allow students to practice the types of problems that will prepare them for the entrance exam of the particular high school to which they are applying, as well as for high school in general. Along with basic topics in pre-algebra and algebra, problem-solving techniques for more difficult problems will be taught to improve the student's critical thinking skills, which is often essential to perform well in math and science intensive high schools.
